If the stats are scaled down to near wotlk levels then that is a good start. I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up too much.

Never really understood why people care about stat scaling. What difference does it make if the numbers say 100 or 100k? Besides screen clutter, but that's a small issue.

What you should be praying for is proper RATIOS among the stats.
Single heals not doing 120% of someone's life, etc.

Stats at 100 from what I've seen is people sitting around 320k life. Depending on the class, the average of damage done from one spell is ~60k, which is very similar to healing which is at average 80k per big heal (Divine Light, Regrowth, etc)

Stats are being dropped but not by much it seems. I wanted them to go back to BC times. (hue)

I heard Justice and Valor points aren't going to be available after this month. That is sad, I still need to get all my looms, and I don't wanna spend that much gold or do that [Grisly Trophy] thing in the Darkmoon Faire. Oh, what depression I have now.

Yeah I was under the impression they were going back to like, start of BC/end of Vanilla numbers, like 1k, 2k DPS.

With the system they chose I guess they'll be dropping the stats each expansion, or every other expansion, instead of one big reset. Interesting.

having heals for 1k instead of 60k remind people of The Good Ol Days

another reason stat crunches need to happen is because integers are a thing

This would've been much better if they HAD chose this old system but just refined it a bit.

Very upsetting to see many of the core spells at the moment being removed. Some classes only have 4-6 core moves (For each and every spec) and that's it.

@Kanzas, Even if you can get the looms in time before they remove JP/VP, it's also rumored that heirlooms themselves will be removed. I haven't read deeper than that.

From what I've read so far, this is correct :[

I main a warrior and they only have Charge, Slam, Mortal Strike, Execute, and maybe Overpower and that's it for moves. I believe banners, special perks (Recklessness, Die by the Sword, and Shield Wall), and the throws are gone.

They still have shouts though, but I think only Battle Shout and Commanding Shout. Also Disrupting Shout if you spec for it

Hm, I'll have to check into that as well. If that's the case, I really don't care that much to get them anyways. But I won't be able to get the looms via JP/VP seeing as my current highest is lvl 33 Disc Priest haha (New account struggle)

"With the upcoming release of Patch 6.0.2, we’ll be sending the vendors who sell Heirlooms for Justice Points on a nice vacation.

As you might already be aware, both Justice and Valor Points are being removed as currencies from the game in 6.0.2. As we started to work on new ways to buy Heirlooms, we found that we were setting their value up for a rollercoaster ride. That's because we’re also working on a larger Heirloom system for a future patch, and we don’t want to introduce an interim pricing scheme that could temporarily devalue Heirlooms or limit how we’d be able to give them out in the future. Rather than make players face buyer’s remorse and hand-wringing decisions about when to buy, we’re going to give the Justice Heirloom vendors some time off while we work on improving the system as a whole.

One thing to note is that this change only affects vendors that sell Heirlooms for Justice. PvE Heirlooms will still remain available at the Darkmoon Faire and the Trial of the Crusader, and PvP Heirlooms will continue to be available for Honor."

So JP will not be able to buy PvE Looms now because it will be removed in 6.0.2.

Neat, and it was simple to get looms, it only took me two hours to get a full set from 0 pts and fully enchanted AND get that character to level 10.

PvE looms are jokes. Only stat besides major ones (str int agi and stam) is Resilience and at a low level it does LITERALLY nothing.
