My point was that if you type "Google.com" in yahoo, they'll give you that odd message... and I found it funny. I don't think any other search engine does that, does it? (:

I think it's a given that most of the users on FFR (and anywhere else on the Internet for that matter) use Google more than Yahoo!. It can almost be said that the only reason why someone would choose to use Yahoo! instead of Google is because they're still accustomed to using Internet Explorer, thus having Yahoo! as the default search engine, or their homepage/primary email is on the Yahoo! site. The other search engines out there that are still being used are -only- being used because users trust the site or refuse to move on because of a non-conformist idealistic sense or some sort.

What a dumb thread.

I saw this coming... Which is why I said my point wasn't to actually compare them, necessarily... but to ask what you think about that message yahoo has when you type "Google.com" in it.

This isn't CT anyways.

Well, it wasn't really my point... but anyways I do use google more.

Although, Yahoo flags potentially dangerous sites... (which I don't think google does).

Yeah that's a bonus with yahoo, if Google does it then I haven't happened to see it. I know that Firefox does it at least.
