Yeah, I could definitely do a video of me doing real drums to a Rock Band song, it'll just have to wait until my lung heals up enough to do real drums again rofl

I can't decide whether I should do something repetitive that I won't screw up (i.e. Don't Fear the Reaper) or something impressively difficult that I will definitely screw up (i.e. Won't Get Fooled Again, or possibly a Metallica song - ooh, and I could even add the double bass).

It's about damn time they made the shop accessible in-game, going to the Marketplace on the Dashboard drove me crazy.

Just got it.

Yes.

A few of the fills are going to be a pain, but whatever.

Also, I just decided it was time to cash in one last EA warranty and so I've stopped playing my drums like they're glass. Instantly, I 5*ed a some things I hadn't before and 5G*ed a bunch more, too. To put it in perspective, I raised my drum solo rank from 800-something to 600-something in an hour.

God I wish the drums didn't break so easy.

Nice. I've never played my drums with too much subtlety because I know that I can get free replacements. My yellow pad is wearing down a bit, but it still works fine (some fills it's kinda iffy but whatever).

On vox I've been steadily improving my career rank; right now I'm ~325 on XBL. When I go through and fix all of my sightread scores (I've already turned lots of 3*s into GSs) I should be top 200. My goal is to get top 100 (I think I'm 1.2 million away ATM).

167 on PSN. I keep fluctuating because I don't play as much.

On real drums Metallica isn't that hard, i mean and justice for all (the song) is hard to remember because its so long but Lars makes easy and simple drum beats. ...Well Blackened is a pretty hard drums song.

PS2 version isn't really that great. No customizable characters, and World Tour is watered down.

Also, going to a major Rock Band party tonight. So doing expert drums and guitar.

At first, I always hated Detrout Rock City since it's such a hard song due to the tricky base pedals, but now it's seems fun since I'm a lot better at it.

Also played some ranked matches. Destroyed everyone, and played some player named Kasandrae 5 times consecutively. Destroyed her too.

Detroit Rock City was one of those songs that grew on me as I learned it. It still sucks on guitar, regardless.

Detroit Rock City has a really cool beat, but it's also extremely repetitive and the drummer doesn't play with it at all.
