Everything happens for a reason.
So earlier, I was to give a presentation in my Journalism class on my name. But when I got to class, I found that neither my laptop or my flash drive was in my bag. (I somehow didn't save it to my email either, which really sucked.) I instead was given an extra day to present the project. I felt a bit mad at myself for not doing it, but I just finished my day, not really thinking about it at all. Wasn't really anything major.
BUTTTTT, later on, when I finally got home and logged onto my laptop, there was an- eh, pretty risque picture of a certain character from a certain show in a certain pose in a window open on my desktop. I closed the tab quickly first, because my mom was in my room. But then, for a good minute, I was just sitting there thinking about how lucky I was that I forgot to bring my laptop. And I was just sitting there smiling for a bit. TLDR: A lot of things may happen to you in life that you will question. Think of some times that something may have happened for a reason, such as missing a bus, or catching a cold, or something of that sort. |

Kind of the opposite of this story, and it happened to one of my friends:
We went to URI at the time, and he was taking an exam on his laptop in the lecture hall. He was having a hard time submitting his exam, so he called the teacher over (middle aged female) to get help. So the teacher went to type in "URI Tech Help" or something like that, and lo and behold, the first result that google suggests is "URI Boobs". @URIBoobs is a (now defunct) twitter page where females would take pictures of their exposed breasts and anonymously submit them to the twitter page. My friend said the teacher clearly looked disturbed, but tried her best to hide that she saw it. Also, if you didn't download pics from /mlp/ you wouldn't have had to rely on luck to evade ridicule from classmates. I would recommend not doing that anymore.
