Default E3 2007 Discussion Thread

So far, E3 has been sort of on the quiet side since the downsizing. However, that doesn't stop us from getting some sort of enjoyment from this.

The first company to have their conference is Microsoft which will be tonight at 11:00 PM. As much as I dislike Microsoft, I'm curious to see how they will respond to Sony's recent price drop and if they have any unexpected tricks up their sleeves.

Sony and Nintendo will both have their conferences tomorrow morning respectively. Expect to hear crazy things abound.

Also, G4 will be doing the E3 Coverage as they always do. That will come on every night at 9:00 PM for the days that E3 is running.

Whew, that's a lot of time and dates to remember. Don't worry GVG. I know you guys can do it.

Now go out there and SPECULATE AND DEBATE!

It's been quiet? I spent from 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. doing nothing but updating www.rithum.com

There's actually a lot of music game items going down this year. Awesome, awesome stuff. And people are already speculating that Microsoft is going to counter the PS3 announcement with a price drop of their own. Don't forget a lot of third parties are going to be having conferences as well, mostly on the 12th and 13th.

Edit: Here is a link to all of the additions made today - http://www.rithum.com/?p=439

I'm still waiting for an official release date for Line Rider.

I doubt they will announce one at E3 though.

I watched the Sony Press Confrence, and I must say, best one out of the three. Its about time Sony got its act together and started showcasing some of its killer apps. One game I cant wait for: Ratchet and Clank. The game looks stunning, plus its Ratchet and Clank. Microsoft, as expected, didnt really show anything unexpected, other than the 90 seconds of Halo 3 campaign footage, which was horribly spliced and left me wondering, "Wtf is going on here?" Nintendo would probably be inbetween Microsoft and Sony, mainly because they showcased more additions to the Wii-style of play (i.e. the Wii Zapper, actually seems kind of cool) but at the same time, revealed some of the release dates for its most anticipated games *coughSSBBcough* Currently watching AOTS for some of the live demos, looking fairly nice thus far.

P.S. **** you Sony and your damn trailer of MGS4, rather then a demo.

1. I agree. Instead of promises, Sony actually delivered and showed the most promising games out of the three conferences.

2. Hideo Kojima said during the conference that he would be playing MGS4 in a live demo at the Tokyo Game Show in September so you gotta be patient. =P

Blizzard officially announced a new 10 man (Zul'Aman), Voice Chat, and Guild Banks for an upcoming patch. Pretty cool.

I will also be buying the Rock Band bundle day 1. =]

Sony bored me, and I knew that Microsoft was going to have a price drop since they announced that they would have one around this time since last year.

Why does that not suprise me that Sony would bore you? You seem to having something ill to say about the PS3 no matter what subject is connected with it.

Also, I haven't seen any official information about a price drop for 360 yet, but we all know Microsoft doesn't want to be outdone by Sony.

As much as I hate DBZ, its nice to see a DBZ fighting game finally going online, and on the Wii, no less. Hopefully other publishers follow suit, and start taking advantage of the built in wireless *coughGHIIIsongpacksplz?cough*

Yeah, I have a grudge with Playstation for a while. I don't even know why I hate Sony's Playstation, or how it started. I just hate it.

Same could be said of your constant Sony praising as well as troll bait.
