Ok before I say anything else, if you wish to play this game, you will need to be ACTIVE or you will not get far.

Ok, first a little miniguide, I'll put in more if people show interest.

To register, hit the register as X button (X referring to Asgard, Replicator, Tauri, or Goa'uld)

The four basic races:
-Asgard/Ancient- Defensively oriented, They receive a 25% defensive bonus.
-Tauri/Tollan- Offensively oriented, they receive a 25% offensive bonus.
-Replicators/NanoTiMasters- Balanced offense and defense, receive a 25% covert/anti-covert bonus.
-Goa'uld/System Lords- Balances offense and defense, They receive resource bonuses (can't remember % off the top of my head)

There are two planes of existence, Normal Reality, and Purgatory. I would recommend once you start to move to purgatory because you will be safe from most of the larger accounts which will help you grow faster.
Accounts in purgatory cannot interact with accounts in normal reality and vice-versa.

The first things you need to do once your account is set up:
1. Find a commander. Since I have a semi-powerful account, you should join my officers to receive a huge income boost. Go to the attack screen when you log on, go to the bottom, serach the name "gooeycheesestick", go to my stats page, and click the "make this unit my commander" button.

2.These two have to come at the same time.
-Build a defense. No defense = no progress and no money. Build your defense by building defenders and then super defenders (you must train defenders and then train your defenders into super-defenders)(super soldiers deal twice the damage and take half the damage of normal units, but cannot be untrained) and then go to your armory and buy the most expensive weapons for your units. Do this until you have at least 50 billion defense(100 billion for asgard) and then concentrate on other things for a while.
-Build your UP (unit production). This can be done in the training section.

3. Get some covert action so you can spy people.
Do this by upgrading your covert skill (you can do this in the training section) as much as you can and training covert units.
HUGE NOTE: If in the "attack" tab, someone's stats are all question marks (meaning their army size and amount of naquadah(the currency)), you cannot spy them. You will fail and lose 10% of your covert units.
