Windows 10 and FFR Testing

well i got windows 10 on my laptop
edge lags like fuck just browsing the forums so i'm using chrome if i keep this
ffr's running really smoothly with the standalone link in chrome (also what i used on w8, which also worked hella smoothly for a while) but now the frame quantizing is 10 times more noticeable and makes me not want to play it

I have 10 now. Since 8 microstuttered all of the time, I expect this to be even worse. Yay!

I tried using edge once, I just ended up cutting myself. I think they went with the new name based on the fact they've been trying to make a decent web browser for how many years now, and as close as they get, they always hold back before the big release.

In all seriousness, 10 shouldn't be too different from your experiences on 8, look into some of the things they added. The whole Xbox DVR forcing Vsync can go right back into the recycling bin. I had stepmania go from 500+ FPS smooth to 120 with drops to as low as 80 with the DVR enabled. Not even up to the 144hz of my monitor. Not that it was super noticeable aside from some stuttering issues, but it was fixable.
