I was referring to Kilroy's comment with the mention of "entitlement", since I was taking a brief look at other posts made recently as well. My post was not intended to come across as an expression of hopelessness: just a needless compulsion (my brain is cool) to insist that adoption is not a wholly desirable solution to maintaining a family line, due to still prevailing opinions on direct gene relation I'm certain still exist in the minds of some. That said, I fully support any couple adopting children if for whatever reason they cannot/will not sire their own.
