a kidney stone
So two friends, FEP and Cold, asked me to make a song for their stamina division of their upcoming tournament, Rocky Mount FEC1. They basically wanted it >200 with plenty of room for a hard stepchart. They wanted it to be named a kidney stone so when someone passes it, everyone can say "LOLS U PASSED A KIDNEY STONE".
Anyways, I had a lot of fun with this one. I didn't really work on it and finetune it and master it as much as I could have, but it'll do. Tournment's going to be ****ing epic. Rocky Mount tournaments always are. A couple of hundred people will be there. If you're near the NC area around January 2nd-3rd, come check it out. But yeah.. song's on the top of my rithum.: http://www.rithum.com/draigunmusic MP3: http://www.badcab.net/kidney/draigun...ey%20stone.mp3 Tournament thread: http://aaronin.jp/boards/viewtopic.php?t=4252

Pitch bend be <3.

I kind of agree with this. Since I was making this for them, they requested I leave those hats in there so they'd have a legitimate reason to put a stream for added difficulty. I'll probably end up releasing this on my album coming up and it'll be heavily editted. :>

I tried it, but it just didn't sound right.. they said the hats were fine, so I just left them.. haha.

Re: a kidney stone
I really like the song.
I just hope they don't change it on the MFA Rithum player for a while.

Re: a kidney stone
Now we just need a cool FFR chart for it.

Pretty good, but it does feel pretty rushed seeing as only 4 hours of work went into it. I'm sure whenever you come back to this and work on it some more it'll sound superb. But it does sound great for a rushed project!

Re: a kidney stone
I actually heard this song from WinDEU--and he told me about it being in the Rocky Mount tourney. I remember him saying that the Expert chart was just gonna be a long 16th run at 220 BPM (is that the right BPM?). >_<
I'm glad I'm not a pro, then I won't have to make the attempt at passing A Kidney Stone. xD Then again, I'll just do the hard chart. =P |

Re: a kidney stone
Let us wait until Draigun remasters the track. This way, we have the highest quality that he can offer.

Re: a kidney stone
Yeah, you guys are free to step it. I'll try and get it remastered within the next few days and I'll post the updated file, here. None of the melodies should really change that significantly so it shouldn't affect whatever chart you're already working on.
Thanks for the comments, everyone. :3 Quote:
Adrian's tournament stepchart is actually somewhere in that tournament thread (page 102 or so) if you guys are interested.
