He did get a head injury at ECW when he did that flying headbutt, but then Elijah Berk countered with his knees.

No I mean from every match. Every time he got hit in the head in his career it takes a big toll on you health.

ok i think you people have to realise this goes way past professional wrestling now...the finger points to issues outside of the ring for benoit...this has nothing to do with titles

He couldn't of been depressed by something. It's not like him to ditch a match at Vengeance for the ECW world title. We don't actually know what happened, all we know that he is dead with his family.

Things are poping up all over the internet on sites and through links on wikipedia that Benoit accidently strangled his wife in an argument, panicked then killed his son and then hung himself. Don't know if its true but we will find out eventually. I'm watching all the news channels right now to find out more info.

Update: Headline News has just reported the same thing. Its has not been oficially confirmed yet but a press release is apparantly going to happen at 3 pm Eastern time.
