Default Creating a DVD..

Well, this is a big guess in forum choice but here it goes.

I have anime in the form of AVI's on my computer. I want to take this anime and put it on to a DVD so I can watch it on a TV. I've tried for countless hours already and the only conclusion I've come up with is that you can't just use one program. I can't just plop the episodes on to a DVD either because things such as the subtitles get cut off. So I need to resize... I know this is a common problem becuase I've been asking around. No one has an answer.

I've been noticing also that a lot of PC magazines have been reviewing "DVD Creating" software lately. There are very few programs that don't crash for one reason or another.. or some that simply crap out your videos onto a DVD with a result that looks no less beautiful than a pile of animal carcasses. There are also a lack of guides.. and zero that are simple in use.

Any help is appreciated.

Default Re: Creating a DVD..

well you need a converter that converts avi to dvd...Win avi is a good program and easy to use. you can use it to lets say you wanna put 5 episodes on 1 dvd. you can make a mini menu or just let it all continue on without one..but i like the little menu option. easier to get to the episodes if your on like episode 3 and turn it off. instead of having to scene skip trying to get to where you were at...Xilisoft is also a good program and a little more advanced for fancier menu's but also converts it over to Dvd files...then of course after you convert it will be a file to large to put on dvd...so then you use the program Dvd shrink to shrink the file down so it will fit. they may take some tinkering around with but there great programs.
