Where to focus ?
Well, at some point in rythym games, to get better (at least for me) i got to figure out where should i focus my attention/vision the most. for example in guitar hero i do not look at all the board, just the downpart to be more accurate. Should i focus on the arrows, on the screen in general or somewhere else o.o ?

Re: Where to focus ?
My main focus is slightly above the judge. On harder/faster songs, i start to focus a little bit lower then normal. When it comes to vibrating, i focus on every first arrow.

Re: Where to focus ?
My eyes constantly look around the whole of the black background, from the judge, to the score at the bottom (bad idea), to my life at the top, to the right half, the left half etc ..
On harder songs I tend to look farther down to where the arrows just appear. |

Re: Where to focus ?
If you want to be accurate, you should look as close as possible to the receptors, but with time and experience, you won't need to look at them to hit perfects, it will just come naturally and you can look anywhere (mostly middle).
On hard songs you shouldnt look at the receptors, or else you won't have enough time for your brain to process information that fast. |

Re: Where to focus ?
I find it just easier to play and not worry about where to look cause eventually if you want to be good at the game, you'll naturally adjust to the higher speeds and different patterns (duh!). There's no point in trying to focus in one main place, but if you have to absolutely focus in one spot, aim to read the arrows on the lower half of the screen and hit them as they come up while reading the next section etc etc..

Re: Where to focus ?
i seem to focus between the 3rd and 4th arrow 90% of the time and the middle 10% of the time

Re: Where to focus ?
its funny because usually people focus a little above the judgement. when i begin to play a song thats a little too fast for my hands (im improving still =/) My eyes start to slowly drift upwards towards the receptors until i finally dont pay attention to the upcoming arrows because im focusing on the closes ones to the end.The pros that are commenting might not do this anymore but make sure you try to stop your hands from moving to slow and making your eyes having to focus on late arrows
i hope that makes sense. lol
