This is already well-known -- it's just a matter of knowing how to posture yourself, how to hold your hands, how hard to press, and what kind of hand movements/arrow patterns contribute to the least amount of stamina-drain.

It may be well-known for 1-5min files but in the case of playing/grinding for hours, it's a different story.

No, what I mean is that it's just a matter of finding the lowest possible energy output you can muster while meeting your goal. Anything that deviates from that is making it harder on yourself.

The important point, though, is knowing when to take breaks -- and it's not always "when you get tired." It takes a lot more time to recharge after you've depleted than it does when you're on the brink.

Does it takes less energy to slowly quad mash with autofail 1 miss?
Does it takes less energy to normally play a file you can do well with high TPS?
Can you still do well on that X file after 10+ hours?
Should you take short breaks? Longer ones?
Should you eat salmon or some fish food that may motivate your brain to actually function more properly?
Should you go to a gym and try to get more in shape so you don't collapse due to my general health condition?
Should you re-invent the universe before making an apple pie?

I stopped cow milk and went to soy milk which improved my concentration and given me the ability to AAA FMOs. So yeah, simple things does matter. An accumulation of tons of simple things like this may lead you to absolute world domination.

You're correct, but what I was referring to was mainly the playstyle. Obviously you want to hit as light as possible and with minimal hand strain -- that will be constant no matter how long you play for. But the other stuff you mentioned, absolutely.
