Help build PC.......again.
Yes everyone, another thread on helping someone build a PC. So I would like a little help picking out stuff to build a new gaming PC. I want to create a PC that will be able to run Battle Field 3 on all high settings. Now, I'm wondering, how much is the least amount of money I can spend to achieve this goal. If you guys want a cap on how much I'm willing to spend, I'd say $800 is probably the max. Note that I don't need a monitor, keyboard, or a mouse. So can anyone help me build something that's gonna last me? Battlefield 3 will probably be the last game I buy for a while since I'll still be playing CS 1.6 for many years to come. So, can anyone help?

As far as processors go, i7's barely outperform i5's but cost way more. Plus the hyperthreading i7's have can work against you sometimes.

I get you bro, don't worry.
Sounds like the OP wants to keep this as cheap as possible, and I am a huge jew myself when it comes to hardware |

What resolution do you play at? What brands do you prefer: AMD or Intel in processors, and NVIDIA or ATI?

Only this and you're ready to play. Seriously the comp itself is pretty good. Add this and you get to *800$, nice gaming experience. Edit: Meant to quote Calcium, w/e... |

Re: Help build PC.......again.
Resolution really doesn't matter to me. I mean come on, I'm used to shitty graphics, I play CS 1.6 lol. But if I'm going to spend this amount of money, I want to be able to get the best bang for my buck. So if I'm going to play Battlefield 3, I want to play on the highest resolution possible, with all graphic settings on the highest.

Re: Help build PC.......again.
Oh oops. Yeah I'll get on that then.
I'll post it tomorrow sometime as I'm about to go to sleep. If you're not comfortable building it yourself though, I'm worthless to you. Cyberpower is your best bet in that case. Just a note that it's extremely simple to build it yourself, and it's always the best option. |
