{Evolution} Out Stage (9 or 10)
On an unusually early morning, I thought I'd try this new Rushy file since, you know, "it's ONLY a nine." Boy, was I proven wrong right from the get-go with a series of 32nd rolls, and it didn't let up too much from there with 48th bursts, 32nd trills and short streams, even a 16th jumpglut section.
As far as I know, level 9 files CAN have these sorts of patterns, but those that do exist in the file are few and far between--alternately, the chart can be of moderate difficulty throughout. This file just has way too many of these sorts of fast patterns. |

The majority of this file feels like a 9. As mentioned above, there are a few advanced patterns making it justifiable for a 10. Still feels like a high 9 though.

Re: {Evolution} Out Stage (9 or 10)
I'm touched :,D. I believe it to be a high 9 since the BPM isn't high enough for the jumpgluts to be much of an issue. The only downside to a slowish BPM is that the rolls are definitely harder to hit accurately, and I know they were even giving some more experienced players trouble since it seems nowadays people are more used to flamming and jumptrilling rolls instead of actually rolling them. Does that make it a 10 though, I don't think so.

It's a low-mid 10, but I AAA'd it twice so I don't really care.

Re: {Evolution} Out Stage (9 or 10)
Too many jump gluts, thirty second notes, and bursts to be a 9. Most nines can have one of those and get away with it, but having all three staggered throughout the entire chart pushes it into the low VC range.
It's a 10 |

Just feels alot harder than low 10s like State of Emergency and Carousel Paradise to me, so 10 IMO

Re: {Evolution} Out Stage (9 or 10)
I'm going to say that it's a 10 too because of the many different parts that are difficult to execute. It's no more than a low-VC IMO; if it had just one or two of the difficult parts, it would be a 9.
The long jack and long trill are pretty fast. The whole file is loaded with jumps, and it's easy to split, particularly in the jumpglut section. |
