Re: Goodbye Framers!
The staff already said they were going to keep 2nd Style around after 3rd Style came out. My argument is they need to make the separation now, rather than bastardize the scores of the entire life of 2nd Style in a short transition period that will lead to a separate 2nd and 3rd Style anyway. Removing avmisses is removing the defining, score-limiting "feature" of 2nd Style.

Re: Goodbye Framers!
That's my argument right there. You're acting like removing avemisses is like removing a feature...And you simply can't do that because it is 100% NOT a feature.

Re: Goodbye Framers!
I agree with Ryusei, it's not a feature, it is a glitch.
Av-misses aren't even that hard to avoid really, well for me at least, I only miss because of bs lag whenever playing FFR. Oh and here's something else: Jacks with av-misses = pretty hard Jacks without = still hard Makes a little difference except for timing, which relies ON the person playing, now that they'll be/they're gone.

Re: Goodbye Framers!
Dore is correct.
It is best not to corrupt 2nd style and wait until 3rd style is released. Beta testing (so scores won't record) however, I'm all in favor of. +1 for NO. |

Re: Goodbye Framers!
Listen I read the whole thread.
I 100% support the fixing of this. So what if AV is gone and your score is destroyed? It doesn't mean everyone is gonna go AAA it no... you still have to work for that and with AV gone YOU get an advantage to. Why wouldnt you want to FIX a GLITCH? common guys. use your heads... btw 77% wins. |

Re: Goodbye Framers!
I'm not fast enough to hit those, well FN yes, and Molto almost. I can hit jacks, but even in SM, I miss the 5th/6th arrow 150-180 longer jacks.

I don't know...I'm now of the mind that perhaps 2nd style should stay the way it is - and implement this feature in 3rd style...pending 3rd style isn't too far away developmentally. Last edited by foilman8805; 01-28-2008 at 07:20 PM.. |

Re: Goodbye Framers!
There should be no hesitation with this. Seriously, everybody who said no is simply too lazy to re-do their scores again. For shame people, just kill the glitch and play the damn songs w/o framers and enjoy.
