Re: Sleep:Wake | Optimal Aggregate Ratio
~ 7 : 17
I go to bed at 11 every work day and get up at 6:15, on weekends usually bed at 12 and up at 7:30. Used to sleep more because my natural tendency is to stay up late and sleep late, but now I find I'm significantly more productive if I get up earlier.

Re: Sleep:Wake | Optimal Aggregate Ratio
On average it's something like 5.5:18.5
"sleeping in" is impossible for me now, if i'm out partying and up until 4am i still wake up at 8am, i usually take gravol to fall back asleep though cuz ~fuck hangovers~ the last couple months i've been using gravol to sleep so uh.. yea ver bad :/ |

Re: Sleep:Wake | Optimal Aggregate Ratio
Depends, but usually 7:17
Go to bed around 1, wake up at 8 or so. I want to get in the habit of sleeping / waking earlier though. I'd rather have the extra bit of free time in the morning vs. late at night. Old habits are hard to break, though. Last edited by Reincarnate; 03-9-2017 at 09:37 PM.. |

Re: Sleep:Wake | Optimal Aggregate Ratio
Tablets to help you sleep aren't too bad, they're just for motion sickness mostly aren't they? My mother uses gravol when she goes on cruises. As long as it's not a detriment to your sleep patterns and your not feeling negative symptoms from it after waking I can't see why not to use it. Keep taking it if it's helping you stay rested. You must be a pretty actively stimulated person to keep a consistant 18+ routine so I'd say the gravol is probably doing a little bit of good. I take restavit personally. And I'm averaging about about 4:20, I try to keep it like that though lately I've been tending to neglect rest for days at a time. I blame my thyroxine, but it's not like it's causing 'too much' fatigue though. So I'm happy with my relatively chaotic timetable... not really, that's why I made this thread. I wanted to know what the norm was so I could try and find that balance. :^)

Re: Sleep:Wake | Optimal Aggregate Ratio
Probably about 6:18, in practical terms of actual restful sleep probably 5/19 or so.
I'm basically tired all of the time. |

Re: Sleep:Wake | Optimal Aggregate Ratio
I can manage as low as 1.5:22.5 for up to about a week, but over long periods of time my minimum is about 4:20, practically I'd like 6:18 to 8:16
When I don't have responsibilities I sleep 12:12 or above even over long periods of time but it's rare that I get to do that for more than a day or two.
