Default The Marshall Mathers LP2

Just got the new Eminem CD the other day and I think it's really good! Have you listened to it yet? Do you like it? Do you hate it? What's your favorite/least favorite song on the album? Any other comments, feel free to share here!

Personally I don't really have a favorite song, but "Headlights," "The Monster," "Legacy," and "Asshole" are in a 4-way tie for first. Least favorite for me is "Stronger Than I was." Overall I think the album was excellent, especially his use of metaphors and rhyming structure, as well as some of the stuff he rhymes. If you're an Eminem fan, like myself, I would highly recommend this album!

Honestly, I've been listening to Em's stuff from Encore, MMLP, SSLP, and the Eminem Show, and have been for years. I listened to Relapse and it was OK and then listened to most of Recovery and then kind of peaked out. I have only listened to a few songs from MMLP2, they weren't bad, sometime I might get around to listening to all of it if people really start going nuts over it.

Guess it comes down to if you're a fan of his music or not. If so, I think you would like majority of the album.

IMO, Relapse was his worst album. His older albums, and also Recovery, I thought, were really good. My only critique of this new album were the instrumentals. They were just meh, but the lyrics, and rhyme scheme more than made up for that. I'm also pretty open when it comes to most music and as long as it's not screamo or hardcore gangster rap I will like it haha.

im a definitely a fan of his music and owned all his albums until they were stolen

the reason i said that was because i dont want to think it will be just as big as the first lp and then be disappointed because my expectations were unrealistically high
