Default World's Most Ownage-filled Street Fighter Video

http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~rsigley.../srk-daigo.zip

This Daigo guy is crazy. Last round, he's playing as Ken vs Chun-Li, no life left, and he pulls out the most AMAZING parriage ever seen under extreme pressure.

For those that dont know..Parrying is pressing foward or down the exact moment before youre hit...Incredibly hard to do, let alone a super-parry...

Hadouken owns you.

Personally I prefer using the spinning kick way too much and staying close rather than hanging back and fireballing the whole time.

Did he have to parry each of those kicks, or just those two sets and that other one?

I've only played SF2 and some of the Marv Capcom games, so I don't know anything about this "parrying" stuff. All I know is you hold back and you live longer...

Dammit, now I really wanna go buy a Street Fighter game

I saw that live at Evo. (go cal poly! and its only 5 minutes away!) The real suprise is that Daigo plays Street Fighter. He used to be a hardcore guilty gear player.

For the uninitiated, one must parry an attack the frame before it hits, and there are 60 frames a second. So, you have to do a series of button presses within 0.0167 seconds before it hits, on EVERY hit, not to mention that the series of buttons changes depending on where a hit lands (low, mid, high). He did that 15 times in a row, which is an amazing feat.

The aerial parry was the best part. Even after getting the whole set of high kicks, he manages to AERIAL PARRY the final hit. And with the timing that SotN has said, that's freakin awesome.

Thats absolutely insane.

I can only imagine that both players must have been completely bewildered once the fight was over.

Well dude when you say that to someone like me it doesn't really seem that hard =\ I mean it's a lot harder than it sounds right? Because the timing for a marvelous on DDR is exactly 0.0167 as well, and I have no problem getting 20 of those in a row on complex patterns =\ hell, the timing on IIDX is a bit harder and that's easier for me

o.o Holy swit! which buttons do you use for parrying, cuz if you need three or more buttons, I'd kill myself!! The aerial parry is INSANE!! This goes to show that even if your opponent's low on health does NOT mean that that person can bounce RIGHT BACK UP and COMPLETELY beat the fucking CRAP, the HOLY-FUCKING-SHIT, and the OMGWTFBBQ out of you at the FIRST SIGN OF WEAKNESS!!!! omg what WERE you people thinking.. tsk tsk tsk.. .. .. lol

Exactly, aperson. Arch, Marvelouses are easy becasue you can see the arrows coming. In a game like Street Fighter, you have almost no time to react.
