Default Greetings [Little Introduction...]

First, I'd like to say that "hello everyone," and I've said it, right?

I'm not new to the FFR, but am the newbie of this community. Actually in my profile it said that I've been FFR member for 1.5 years, but 90% of it is the time I've not play FFR -*-

I really like Touhou Project [Touhou Project Suki Da!]. And that is how I know FFR (because google throw me to this site when I want to search Simfiles.) FFR makes me stick to my chair >.< And I've got only 1 AAA, AAA'd is very challenging (Difficulty of 10, According to FFR's Difficulties.)

Last, Greetings everyone.

P.S. Getting a high rank with few games played is possible?

Hey TGK, welcome to the FFR community.

It depends what you mean by a 'high rank'. A high overall grandtotal-based ranking is impossible with a few game plays, because the overall-ranking system is based on your total score for every game you have played on FFR. This ranking is inaccurate in terms of skill. The most accurate ranking system FFR currently supports is known as the 'Tier' system.

This is copied directly from my FAQ:

Tier Points:

Perhaps the most accurate ranking system is the Tier Point System.
Make sure to give the tier point thread a visit. You can find all the information you need to know about this system here.

For future reference, you can find the same thread through FFR General Talk > TOP Players / Tier Requirements Thread - Updated 5/8/08.

It is possible to achieve a high skill-based ranking in terms of tiers with a minimal number of gameplays, however, it may be a challenge to achieve. Keep up to date with your tier points and climb your way to T0!

Tier system, um. Thank you for answer my question. [I should visit your FAQ for better life in FFR.]

I have 32 now... Very far away from T4 'sigh'.

32 tier points is pretty impressive, if you've only played for a short while.
Tier points are supposed to be difficult to get for the average user, as the purpose of the points is to distinguish the top players.
Also, a AAA on a VC is very good... though it probably means you could AAA much more.

Hello greeting to you! At first I did now know about this website and the forum. But the first time I been to the FFR website was from the Forum and Simfile Database, at the time I was searching for simefiles for Stepmania and when I was Googling it, it took me here to the Flash Flash Revolution website!
