just went through all of isabelle's vote count posts, and aside from some of the early early d0 stuff, here's the only times tank, cherry, fauna, or punchy voted for someone who didn't turn out to be town:

punchy seems to be outside of the main wagons a lot, at least as far as the first three phases go

cherry as well, but that's because timezones and missing eod

if he's a wolf, then the answer was right in front of us all along with his Chief vote

if he's a town, then he was just trying to get a cfd going on someone he thought was a wolf

im going to be really annoyed if its the first, because I think it would be the scummiest thing Punchy has done all game, and it happened very early

Phil's in such a weird position for me now with that last-second voteswap. Is that really an Agent S bus that he attempted to do? It doesn't make sense at all. Maybe my theory about Phil being an Agent S partner is pretty wrong. There's also the possibility they're both town and I'm just a huge idiot. I do kinda like Agent S dropping his reads list right before he thought he was going to die, but it would have been nice if he was in the thread helping at that time instead of committing to that. I feel like the real-time interactions would have helped for more solving at this juncture.

Phil, I missed one of the votes because I didn't have the votecount handy and I didn't want to push to insta. I was obviously in favour of lynching Chief, mind you.

As for pushing the Chief vote on D0, sorry for being wrong, I guess. Julian, both you and I were on Del before he claimed. Everyone hopped on Zucker. I went on the only other person that I had a pretty negative read on at that time aside from Apollo. I can't claim self-meta about the "voting outside the main wagons" idea, but I'm just going to put that as a part of my play as well. My Flurry vote was during the "we're dunking on Dora" phase, so throw that out of your brain. I put that as a vote of "I think this person is scummy" and not a "let's not lynch Dora" thing.

I think I'm gonna put Fauna on the table for today.

these are both fair points. i remember us talking d0 about chaos voting, and i think voting for someone you had a more solid read on than an inactive with the lowest non-modkillable post count out of principle matches both your style and mine. but i think if you're town then you should understand how that vote comes across in hindsight too

and i did the same thing during the dora phase, avoiding the insta despite obviously going to vote there

You bring up a fair point about Agent S. This is a pretty dumb gambit.

Fauna posted that really gross-looking "here are the teams of the people who I'm not townreading" post that conflicted with itself a bit and just opened up too many worlds. It just felt like she was opening so many doors so late into the game to a point where it didn't sound like they were unsure of their reads, but rather just setting up the possibility to join whatever vote they saw convenient.

Oh no...forgot about deadlines being cut. This sucks total ass because I have to leave at 4:30 for work, which will eat up the whole evening.

So I have about 1h15m to spend here, and MAYBE another 1h30 before EOD if everything goes well.

Remind me never to play any game with this sort of timescale/structure ever again.

Things that stick out as important to me:
My gut says I overcomplicated things yesterday and should have switched to Agent S before I peaced out last Day. If something that looks like a slip happens it's probably best to lynch, because I've seen scum come back from some ridiculous stuff by suddenly putting in big effort. I still haven't been afforded the opportunity to read D3-4(?) and see if D5 was actually a big jump for him or not.

I still don't get why Rolf is town.
