TWG XLIII Signups - Thursday @ 5 PM, 11 PM EDT

I WILL SEND GAME PMS (lol pms) TO EVERYONE, EVEN GREENS. IF YOU DON'T GET A PM IT WILL BE BECAUSE I SCREWED UP AND NOTHING ELSE.

I am assuming no one has a serious objection to me hosting. If you do, say so and I will be perfectly willing to put this on hold.

To review, this will be my second mystery role game with a Touhou theme. There will be a lot of similarities on the surface to the last game, including the story being told from Aya's perspective. Review the first thread if you want a fuller read - here I'm merely going to summarize.

- Feel free to make up whatever the **** you want if you feel it will better your cause. No one knows your role but you and I. Your role may be unique, it may appear 10 other times. It may be something FFR has never seen before, it may something FFR sees all the time. The first danmaku detective game may have a ton of bearing on what roles are in this one, it may have none. :iiam:
- Night talking is good.
- Talking to the dead is bad. You never know who might come back to bite you in the ass. (Avoid talking to those not in the game, too, just in case I need replacements.)
- If you have an illegal role and I find out someone else knows you're gone and no mechanism that allows game returns is valid for you. It doesn't matter who from or how I learn. An enemy could turn you in, a buddy could accidentally let it slip, a non-participant could mention it in passing. If any of those happen I boot your ass.
- Don't forget the lottery guard. Seriously, stop not sending me votes. >_>

Since this would have been made public instantly anyway, I will kill one mystery right off and say there are artifacts in this game. You will not necessarily know what they do or how they are used, they could be anyone of active-active (usable with a specific target), active-passive (usable with either yourself or no one as a target), passive-active (unusable with a specific target) or passive-passive (unusable with either yourself or no one as a target). However, each artifact will come with an etch of one or more Touhou characters on it, possibly providing a clue as to what it does (as well as giving both you guys and myself an easier time keeping track of what artifact is where).

Each artifact has a 50% chance of "reshuffling" each night (i.e., you lose it and it goes elsewhere). If you so desire you may attempt to pass your artifact to someone else, though this also only has a 50% success rate. Passing takes priority over reshuffling - if a pass is successful the reshuffle will not occur. Also, if a passer is killed during the night, the pass is unaffected, but if the receiver is killed and the pass is successful, who knows what'll happen? NOT YOU LOL

Of course, all of these statements may very well have exceptions. :iiam:

The link to the avatars I gave everyone last game is still at the other touhou game thread. Some of them were pretty cute. I prefer the Udongein avatar from my list over that one. It's just a lot cuter.

It'll make this MUCH easier with the whole avatar/knowing who's post you're looking at, and I had no clue the game was even going to be run before I left the house yesterday, so there's no way I could plan ahead to reserve mine. Which means roundbox eat my butt.

There's no real fair way for me to do this, so I'm going to let you guys discuss it amonst yourselves in the hopes that cooler heads prevail and a reasonable conclusion is reached. I'm going to be gone more of the day, but I should be back before 5 to maybe clean up any mess that happens to be left over.
