RE: Help with webcam
My webcam is good to me, it's a shame that yours sucks. Maybe that webcam isn't compatible with your computer, or your USB outlets don't work. I know Guido had a cam and now it won't work on his comp because his USB things are dysfunctional

Argh, there was something I did. I installed the drivers for mine, then it didn't work, then I did something. ARGH, I can't remember at all. I'll post when I do.

RE: Re: RE: Help with webcam
Guido had the same problem, except his USBs don't work at all... you might have that checked, even if they work otherwise.

RE: Re: RE: Help with webcam
Look for updated drivers on the net or alternate drivers on the net. Always read the manual/troubleshoot. Check google for similar problems. Check the site for recalls or bad equipment.
Also, how about an exact name on the cam? Is it just Liogitech Quickcam? A quick Google check comes up that there is more than one model. |

RE: Re: RE: Help with webcam
Maybe it's not a good USB Cable that came with the camera? We had something like that when we hooked up my grandmothers computer to her cable modem (my dad used the USB set up rather than the ethernet hook up). It fried out her entire motherboard after half an hour. Got the motherboard replaced, and it did it again. Then, hooked it up through ethernet, and haven't had a problem since.
