Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
rofl, updated everything and adjusted the formula a bit so that it wouldn't consider the playlists that they auto build for you as organization of your library. I haven't updated the formula in the post though, just the scores.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
and I added TPS and the other new guy. I have comments for your music but I had to leave in a rush today so I haven't edited them in yet. I'll do it tomorrow when I get to work.

Only 3 over here.
And now it's slow again. Going to try to add an album or two every night.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
Remember to only upload 10 or so songs at a time, then once it's finished, start a new transfer. It just seems to slow down if you queue to many at once, but if you do them in batches, it's always fast for me.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
I am uploading 100 at a time with no problem Up to 350 now, only 1700 or so more left in this folder O_o;
I am uploading while at work and when I am at the house shouldn't take too much time. Check out the playlists I have going. I soon will have the 101 CLub anthems 5 cd set up there after I rename them all |

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
Sweet. Well I totally redid the scoring, and posted the new scores. It's now incredibly objective, and you can easily see how to improve your score.
One of the main things in my ranking is to have a enough playlists that we can navigate the number of songs you have. You should be able to gain an easy 100 points just by having a reasonable number of playlists. Code:
Rating=INT(songs/LN(songs+2)^2*5)+compatibility+MIN(100,INT(7500*MAX((playlists-8),0)/(songs+1)))+playlists+INT(40*LOG(1+(songplays/(listeners/3+0.01))^2))+listeners -the number of songs you have -the number of playlists, which determine the organization of your music -the number of plays -and listeners, and -the compatibility (which is subjective, and can be used to tweak or inflate scores, but comes from the compatibility statistic when viewing another member's music.) More specifically: -The number of songs adds to your score with a weighting that decreases logarithmically, so the difference between having 1000 songs and 2000 songs starts not making such a difference. -The compatibility is between 0 and 100, subjective, and is added directly to your score. -The playlists component is between 0 and 100, where 0 is no playlists (discounting the 8 automatically generated ones) and 100 is one playlist for every 75 songs or better. The number of playlists you have (a relatively small number) is then added to your score. -The number of plays you have decreases logarithmically and with the number of listeners you have, using low pass filter formulae so that users with few plays are not penalized for having many listeners initially. -The number of listeners increases your score directly.
