Prince Caspian what did you think? Spoilers are welcome beware
I thought over all it was amazing. Special effects were outstanding, costume and set design were superb, there's nothing quite like having a big Disney budget to bring a film to life.
Clearly there were some big changes made from the transition from book to film. *SPOILERS* Ben Barnes (Caspian) is 26 in real life and in the book his character is supposed to be 13 I believe although in the movie he looks to be about the same age as Peter and a little older than Susan. I thought the romance between Susan and Caspian was cute, not entirely necessary but I still enjoyed their kiss at the end. Now I think the biggest change that was made in these books was the attack on the castle since that did not happen in the books though I can see why it was added. Most of the book is of the Pevensies traveling to get to Caspian so they clearly needed more material *END SPOILERS* Anyways loved the movie, I've seen it twice and I'm actually seeing it again today so any thoughts? If you haven't seen it yet I would definitely make plans to since I think this one was better than the first movie.

I just have a question: Why did they skip books one and three? I mean, I realize they didn't really play into a big overall story but come on...people might look to read the books and be like "Wtf? The Magician's Nephew? The Horse and his Boy? What are these?"

Well chronologically The Magicians Nephew is first but Lewis didn't write it first. He actually wrote st before the last book The Last Battle. The same goes for The Horse and His Boy. He wrote them out of chronological order and so what Disney is doing is producing them in the order that Lewis wrote and in many fans POV, the way he intended them to be viewed/read.

Too long, not much focus on Caspian.

Most likely...there's no way they would just randomly stop at 2.

It sucked balls... Oh my God I,ve never seen a cheesier movie in my whole life. Everything was cliché, grotesque and plain bad. Half of the lines made my ears bleed and the other half sent a shiver down my spine (in a very, very bad way).
Also, what the hell is up with the "love story" between the prince and that obnoxious girl? They look AT LEAST 6 years appart in age...
