becoming veteran?

Hey guys, How flexible are they on the rules on becoming a veteran. I know i don't have the 3 billion points yet but I have been a member for over 5 years now. I have a total of 2.4 billion at the moment. Is there any chance for me or is the 3 billion a must.

You must have 3 Billion Grand Total before you are eligible for Veteran status, regardless of how long you have been a member on the site.

Y'know Max, it's really depressing when someone who's been here for a third of the time I've been here sups my GTS?

O and yah, 3 billion GTS is the minimum score regardless of how long you've been here.
