About seven years ago it took over 100 hours to 100% Banjo Kazooie. Banjo Tooie might've taken a little longer but I didn't get all the puzzle pieces.

doom 3 on nightmare - 62 hours
ninja gaiden black on highest difficulty - rofl
dragon quest 8 - 73 hours untill the last level and i lost the game :]
last but not least -
BATTLE ****ING TOADS - impossible

Did you do a full run on WA3? Because not only is it painfully easy, but I cleared the game somewhere around the 25 hour mark. I also got really tired of playing it around the end of the second chapter and started rushing through things, though.

As for the game it's taken me the longest to beat?

I dunno. I usually get tired of games about 2 weeks in and then stop playing them.

I'll say... Friday the 13th for the NES. Took me around a year of on and off playing to get through that one.

And Battletoads, I beat that without using any of the warp points.

It's a game that is so challenging that it ceases being fun and starts being a personal mission.

Quite possibly FFVII (60 hours to get throught the game and to get everything) or FFVIII (about the same as FFVII to complete the game.)

You know, I never did beat mario bro's on the NES without using warps... It's just too damn time consuming. I will never beat it in 1 sitting.

still playing it since 2 years ago XD
its really long ( like 40 levels) plus im scared to play it in areas with sharks or no air XD
KH II took 58 hours rofl
KH took like 120 XD no guide used, i was stuck in atlantica or whatever for like 12 of the hours ROFL

Donkey Kong Country for SNES. 6 months. I was a little kid then -- to this day I play games the same way. FULL completion without any guides. So when I was little, it took me quite a long time to get all the hidden barrels in the game. DKC2, comparatively, took me a week, and DKC3 took me a day. Now I can usually beat a given game in a day or two.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, it took me over 100 hours to unlock everything and what sucks though, is that someone erased my save data.
