Just because the post was longer than one sentence doesn't mean it was copied off of somewhere.

Re: Banned for Wanting Grammar!
And the fact that half the posts in your typical Chit-Chat thread is "oMg FaIl" isn't helping our case.
Before coming here, I had sworn never to actively participate in a forum because the last one I posted at was filled with stupidity and repetition. Every single time I visited the forum, I would see the same thread and I would make the same response over and over again for over 2000 posts and it just wasn't very fun and a big waste of my time. However, when I first came to FFR, I was impressed that the threads here weren't completely stupid, different, and even funny. Part of that was because grammar is mandatory here. When I read each of your posts, I give you a voice and I tend to read posts with terrible grammar with an idiot voice in my head. The way that I read your post will ultimately change the way I view your message and the meaning can be completely different from what you actually said. I do realize that not all posts with bad grammar are stupid and all posts with good grammar are smart, it does certainly help differentiating between the two. ~Tsugomaru

Re: Banned for Wanting Grammar!
Really? Because ignorant statements like this doesn't make you any better than people that have bad grammar. In fact, this statement is kind of prejiduce on certain levels. Just because you have bad grammar doesn't mean you're not intelligent. So are you saying people that have bad grammar are stupid? Plz think before you start writing this kind of BS because crap like this doesn't make you look intelligent either.
Here's my 2cent, because I'm sick and tired of grammar whores and these gayass threads about grammar as well as people like, foilman who should think, before making statements like above. The fact is, if you read something and you understand what is being said, isn't that good enough? Grammar whores like this is one of my pet peeves because its so not needed. If the grammar is so bad that you can't understand whats being written, thats one thing. But if you do understand what is being said but you have to create drama like this, then thats another thing. I just dont understand what youstand to gain on picking on people's grammar when you understand what they are saying. Some people aren't native English speakers (like me), so in many ways by you're attitudes, are they less intelligent if they posted something and their grammar is bad? Edit: deleted this paragraph. I still wouldn't be surprised if you got banned for flamming someone for grammer in that thread. You were being annoying for being so obssesive on grammar and for nitpicking and flamming Micester for something so stupid like grammar that only you on that thread couldn't understand. Yes I read the thread and to be honest, there was no reason for you to start the drama on the thread. But in all honesty, the fact that grammar is mandatory on the FFR forums is kind of nice. Ill give you guys that of course, but this obssesion on pointing out everyone's grammar on every thread has got to stop. Its just not needed and it shows that you are more interested by people's grammar than what the author is really trying to say. If a forum doesn't require grammar, deal with it. Why make a big deal about it like Sonic did? Flame me all you want for thinking this way, but I dont think humiliating someone for bad grammar and saying that hes retarded/stupid for having bad grammar is intelligent either. I found grammar whores take bad grammar personally and take offense to it like you just kicked him in the nuts. This is the internet. You will never see these people in you're life. So why is bad grammar or how intelligent they sound so important. If you understand what they write, that should be enough. If not, then Ill side with you grammar nazis. Can people stop making threads about grammar and please find something else to do with you're time? And people wonder why there is drama in the FFR forums. There. Thats my 2cent on this issue. Re: Banned for Wanting Grammar!
Wrong. I didn't get banned for flaming. I was banned for sharing information that the Supports told me. You would have known that if you fully read and understood my first post.

Everyone does. When you read something in your head, you always give it a voice and that can affect what you are reading. When communicating, very little of what you have to say has to do with the words you are using, a lot of it is body motions and tone of voice. The same message could mean many different things depending on the voice. ~Tsugomaru

Re: Banned for Wanting Grammar!
Proper grammar truly is mandatory...I couldn't imagine what the FFR forums would be like without it.
