Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
I'm digging Xiz's game. Want to try an anon-like game.

i dont think you should limit the guess-kill mechanic. one missed guess and you die. if someone wants to ride out the roller coaster, let them try it.

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
Xiz's game but only if he uses the names of actual countries, generic names not so good

I don't want another no out-of-thread, no night-talking game. I like Anon games though so Xiz maybe???

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
but seriously can we please have a game where we can talk out of threadddd I would host it myself if I weren't so desperate to play it

I'd vote for Dance's right now if it allowed out of thread talking only at night for everyone.

if enough people want to play an out-of-thread-allowed game, then someone should make a balanced setup from scratch (or use a tried-and-true one). |

Hmm... I did no out-of-thread to keep the activity going, however I might okay with settling for allowing out-of-thread for nights only? Personally I'm against it, but what is everyone's thoughts on this?

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
I'm not a veteran in this forum, but when it comes to out of thread, I just find those really boring when spectating (either from dying or just a curious spectator).
Not nagging on it because I do agree out of thread is more fun to play through. There's way more elements that go into play that makes player to player interaction deeper than if it was thread only. Just for a player that gets killed and or forum user spectates, they're missing context and the dirty details that I think make the game interesting to watch, haha. |

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
looks like trouble at a glance. could see something like, masons claim in thread -> all blues contact them at night -> any multiple claims get lynched

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
Mainly, my concern is purely from a spectator and not a player, so yeah, lol.

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
I liked the point made earlier about having something to do during really long night phases. Unless dance you promise to uphold your deadlines and we don't wait around for hours without vote counts and with unreliable end/start times.

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
don't worry bro I lurk this subforum like it's my job. kinda sad really.
I refuse to make night phases shorter than 24 hours. shorter than that isn't fair to everyone who needs to submit an action. even if they all get sent in early, ending the night phase asap leaves room for "who was viewing?" tells, which are lame imo. votes are at 4-4? I still don't know how we're actually gonna decide on a game. |

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
Exactly what I was thinking, I wanted to know if others were on the same page as me. Hmm... Yeah by limiting talking to in thread would prevent any actions such as that from happening

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
Both of these choices are good, and I was hoping to post my really not-even-close-to-being-ready game so that I could get some input on it, but I don't want to re-draw it on this computer. Anyways, I would be very happy with either game, but I'd rather go for Xiz.

Re: TWG CVI host sign-ups
We're currently voting for who will host the next game (and by proxy, what game we will be playing). Your choices are currently Danceguy (With his c9++ game) or Xiz (with his anon nations game).
Danceguy, your lack of faith in your own game is disturbing. Vote fo' yo'self or bow out yadigg |
