Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
After a much anticipated return to the Minnesota Vikings, Randy Moss was abruptly dropped and soon to be sent to the waiver wire. It was clear, after his very upsetting departure from the New England Patriots, that his heart was left in New England, all though his first team was the Vikings.
I guess the press conference where he said "Pull your 84 jerseys out.... It's gonna be a fun ride" really didn't mean much. Where do you guys think Randy Moss will end up next? Me personally, the Rams. He won't be happy there either. His heart is in New England and it seems it's going to be that way for a LONG time.

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
i lol'd.
me being a bears fan makes me want him to come to chicago. but thats not going to happen. I think anyone would be stupid to pass on him. They'd be buying the remainder of his contract which is up at the end of the year so why not bring him in. Buffalo gets first pick then if they pass the next team with the lowest record will get the option to pick him up and so on. you really cant predict this stuff. Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
Bret is probably done, after his 12 stitches. I watched him being carted off the field, he didn't have a concussion we know this. I wonder who's gonna scoop Randy up? It's all I've heard on sports talk radio today. That and about the Chiefs/Raiders game, I think we can make it a good game for them damn Raiders. We need Dexter though, we lost a lot of skill last weekend because we needed short gain with the wind and all.

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
Apparently Moss had a bad attitude in Minnesota. He threw a fit over a catered meal that wasn't up to his standards, and complained about Childress not heeding his advice on what plays the Patriots were going to run. I admire Childress for taking out the trash and not tolerating that crap. Now if he'd just bench Favre.
P.S. Go Pack Go!!!!!

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
I wish he would have stayed... I have Harvin for fantasy and he almost singlehandedly doubled Harvin's fantasy points

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
That would be interesting if he ended up with the Chiefs actually....
He DID play decent (not the best) with Cassel in New England.

Minnesota is (unfortunately) my team. I can't say picking up Moss was a bad idea, because he really did give defense's more to worry about than just Harvin and Peterson, I just wish they would utilize Shiancoe more like they used to. I think its time for Tarvaris to come back. If it's true that Moss was trying to tell Childress what plays to call, then that's a perfectly good reason to cut him. It's just hard to believe that a player previously so dominating is getting cut back and forth. Two years ago him and Tom Brady alone would get me a solid 25 points each every week. |

Back to the bench for him, unless he can prove himself otherwise. I think Randy will end up in San Diego. They could use a replacement for Vincent Jackson. |

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
Exactly what I thought, but the Chargers are pretty low on the waiver order. I can't imagine enough teams passing him up to get him to the Chargers. Then again, he did go to the Vikings...

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
Most likely not considering AJ Smith is a prick and refuses to do stuff like this. Plus their depth at WR Is pretty good if you ask me, Rivers has had mostly backups this season and not only does he have the most passing yards/Easily the best QB in the NFL but he also has the most passing yards through 8 weeks in the history in the NFL (2,649) So I highly doubt an old wide receiver is considered there in San Diego, also keep in mind Brad Childress let go of him because he gave up on a play, leading to Brett Favre getting injured plus that press conference. If I was a general manager I wouldn't consider it. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm from San Diego and Im a die hard fan (:

I don't want Moss on KC, oh god no. It'd hurt of more than help us. Moss sits plays out, if the ball isn't coming to him, "NAH SCREW THAT."

Re: Randy Moss Cut By Vikings
whelp.
we're not gonna get him back, not only do we get 31st dibs i doubt we`d take him anyways, although a totally belichick move would be if nobody takes him [which the chances of that happening is probably none], we can pick him up next year as a free agent i believe as far as who`ll pick him up, my bet is on rams. also I was hoping all last sunday that somebody was just gonna nail brett farve so hard that he'd never play a game of football again, I got my hopes up too much it seems. |
