Kyle, man, I'm just letting you know now that going up against the Council is dangerous. I never win.
the thing everyone can agree on is this, and plain and simple for you morons out there: Every OP in a TWG or jTWG must contain the exact wording of each role PM. I hope to god I don't need to explain this. Now, go, vote. |

Don't call me a god damn hypocrite. It's not mandatory. I didn't expect people to play so dirty. If we MAKE IT MANDATORY they'll be there for everyone.
P.S. Aren't I good at sending subliminal messages?!?! |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I understand, but don't tell me that all OPs must contain the PM's if you yourself didn't even do it. Sorry if I came across as an ass.

I'm saying it should be a ****ing rule. You don't want help proving your point? Ok, bye.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Well to start, I don't agree with that rule for the reason I stated prior to the debate between me and Manti. Mystery games are fun, but mystery games are more fun if no one knows they are mystery. This means, not everyone will have the same PM, but no one knows. So, if your rule is implemented, then this kind of game is impossible. If my rule is implemented, all confusion is swept away and games like that can still go on without needing to post the PM's in the OP.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
For ****'s sake, is it really that complex that it needs to be amended to the ****ing rules? Don't talk about your PM. Saying "I'm a human, seer, etc." is fine. Anything beyond that is not. End of story.

All that needs to be stated.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
The reason saying "I'm a Human, Seer, Purple People Eater" is fine is because it's still withing the relm of manipulation, you don't know if the player is lying or telling you the truth.
The reason "Hey what does your pm say" is illegal is because only the player who got the pm can answer it, and you can concretly discern he's telling the truth. This leaves no possibility for error in the game and thusly ruins it. The humans would always win. Period. End of story. and theres no reason for the game to go on. Catfish?

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
No, it really doesn't. The only purpose of stating it would be to make the rules even more complicated than they need to be. It should be common sense that you don't take things further than that, or it ruins the game.
Ninja'd by Manti, but he sums it up fairly well. Last edited by Makilaz; 08-23-2008 at 08:14 PM.. |

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Do you really have to ask? You can still say "I'm a human, seer, etc." but any further than that is illegal. And asking about PMs at all is out. If you want to post the human PM in the OP, you can, but it's not mandatory.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
Alright, that's cool. I think what I'll do is not send a human PM (excluding mystery games). This makes it easier for everyone. If they don't get one they're a regular human. That's just what I'm going to do, though.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I believe everyone still needs to get a role PM so it's not confusing as hell.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
If you don't send PMs, some people wouldn't realize that the game started.
Just send a PM saying Quote:
If you add anything else and it's the same for all humans, just put a copy of it in the OP.

Re: TWC Rules, Policies, Etc.
I agree with this...also if a PM should not go through for some reason it would mess up the structure of the game.
