Not New to FFR - Need help with style of play
I've gotten fairly decent at FFR with the arrows directed up, added some mods on like blink, darkness, etc, but found the game to be too similar. I'm spicing things up by attempting to play FFR with the arrows going to the right-handed side of the screen and well... It's frying my brain I was wondering if anyone had any advice for playing sideways other than turning your head or going back to normal :P Thanks!

Thanks...? I've already a free siggy, and read the stickies. The only mention of the arrow directions was describing how you can change it - not any tips for playing them. If anyone has any experience with the sideways play style at all, could you please share?

no clue.... AFAIK nobody who posts regularly on these forums plays with a side or diagonal scroll. everyone either plays up or down.

Well... you could always try turning your monitor over on its side.

Get used to it. Just practice.

Sorry, can't help you here. Just as Tass said, most people play either forward (bottom to top) or reverse (top to bottom)...

I wouldn't advise turning your head sideways, that would probably hurt after a while xD.
Just keep practicing KotHN. If it's just to much of a pain, go back to regular. Dont get worked up over it. |
