Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
Alright yeah, this is turning into rato again - I'm splitting too hard to get a proper score now, just got 15-2-1-2
I can imagine this must be similar to someone trying to get 5 goods or less on an FGO but then on their miracle run they completely gunk their score to shit in one spot they usually nail lmfao (except, in my case it's death piano xd) |

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
Unfortunately that's pretty accurate to how I do, except it's trying to AAA a VD and derping an easy ass note.

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
I actually made them. Got a bunch of derpy scores all day today. One is definitely Heavenly Spores... and had 4 goods on Black Key Etude but missed an arrow near the end.

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
That's my biggest flaw, and I think it happens to most others on this site - seems like after a while you just can't hit the song properly and you start to just split way harder than usual even if you've AAA'd each part in isolation *sips tea*

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
Hey, that's 15 points better than 9 clean. Chin up brah.
(I'm thinking that with all the uberfast trills and polyrhythms in that song that fatigue is starting to become a factor along with mindblocks)

Still a 5-0-0-2 on runny for me.. I haven't touched that song since '08. I wonder.

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
Fatigue isn't an issue when you can withstand stepmania rate sessions that include stuff like toml 1.5 and other fast crap haha
Honestly, in my recent RATO session where I managed to get 23-1-0-1, I wasn't even close to tired after I was done. I just did worse and worse with each following play so I had to stop - but the interesting thing is that I don't have mindblocks either, since like I've demonstrated in my DP runs the transition slips can happen anywhere. This is why A Quick Death was one of those situations that really pissed me off (when I blackflagged within the first 10 minutes and then spent over an hour to finally luck out an AAA on it) |

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
It's like I told Dossar on AIM - I probably stand a great chance of getting a ridiculous score if it wasn't for the 24th trills that are one-handed. Otherwise, I'd probably AAA up to the last sets of jump-gluts.
Me hitting the trill is all about timing to transition to an overlay setup. |

Re: FFR Scores ~2011 Remix~
I don't think fatigue plays too much of a factor in repetition, especially when FFR and Stepmania comes into comparison. I depend on speed. If FFR had a longer gameplay screen, I can easily increase my speed and most likely PA songs better. I can't read clumped arrows very well.
DP is tiring though, it's totally out of my threshold.
