you have to remember reviewers do have their own personal taste. most of the games that i love got bad reviews, and the ones i hated got good reviews. i dont even trust them anymore

So wait, is this only for X-Box? Unless it comes out for PS2 or something other than X-Box I won't be able to play it. With everything people are saying, I really want to. Ridiculous, unrealistic, somewhat hard, and completely mindless all = <3. Too bad I don't have an X-Box. D=

only for xbox 360. i highly doubt it would come out for ps2 because A. ps2 couldnt handle the graphics and B. they would just wait for the release of ps3... but seeing as they already have it out for 360 im pretty sure theyre sticking with it

The PS3 is going to bomb. The only reason I will get it is because of Final Fantasy and Metal Gear. Hopefully by the time I buy it when it goes down in price it will have more games that I'll like.

Thx Tosh, and yeah the PS3 is going down. It has had the support of major gamers for years but they have now jumped ship. Not to mention the fact that Microsoft is releasing Halo 3 the day PS3 comes out to fight back. I think that Nintendo is going to make a substantial comeback and own both the 360 and the PS3. Whereas it lacks in graphics and power compared to the other two, it makes up with awesone games and ingenuity like never-seen-before.

Why oh why did they put RPG elements in it? Why must everything, including killing zombies, have RPG elements in it nowadays?

It's relatively fun, and quite short in life - it only stays fun as long as you find killing zombies fun. I think there's more modes you can unlock once you run the story through, but after countless escorts and killing every psychopath you see, you end up turning into one yourself and killing everyone associated with the storyline, your new goal being to kill the population before you get picked up by your helicopter.

Definitely worth picking up if you have a 360 though.

First of all according to Bungie, Halo 3 will be released next year NOT with the PS3 launch. And secondly I also agree that the PS3 will fail, highly due to the price. I mean you could buy a 360 and a Wii for the price of one PS3!

and im sick of everyone with the whole graphics stuff. if you actually play 360 on high def its amazing, and thats all early games. remember when xbox first came out how the graphics were, and then a few years later how much better they got? imagine the 360 in a year or 2, its just going to get better and more advanced, and be up there with the ps3, but it wont cost me over half a grand

Thx for clearing that up. Oh yeah, I will be getting the Wii first chance I get. Not the most powerful, but so innovative and when Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out, I will be waiting in line for a while.

so my friend bought this game for 360... after he played the demo.... well after about a day or two.. he already wanted to take it back. its fun for a while but seriously ALL you do is kill zombies. it gets lame after a while. dont waste your money

you can buy that overpriced 15 pound block of plastic and stay dwelling in your pre-rendered CGI cave.

the PS3 controller also adds to the suckage

-no wireless freedom
-uncomfortable DualShock model
-no rumble feature

I would wait before buying the PS3. Sony has recently finished their legal battle over rumble in their controllers. Bluetooth is nice, but is it really that different from a good 360 wireless? IMO, not really. PS3 will be dropping in price soon. Especially after Christmas. I plan to buy one early next year. More games will be realased, rumble shock's release, + a price drop. (Hopefully.)

This game was cool at first but then when it came down to actually trying to play the game and doing the missions the text size is way to small to read i can't stand when people make games with small text but some serious butt kicking action pact game play style..
