Dance Pad
I just purchased a dance pad to use with stepmania ( here is the link http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/44/VG-DDR-PC/)
It came with a serial port connector. I am running 2000, and when I installed the NTPad driver, It shows up in control panel as OK, but when i click on properties to try and test the pad, the pad doesn't work! Anybody else have this problem before? Any suggestions on how to fix it? Could it be a voltage problem because the pad has LEDs? Thanks Nydakor

I'm guessing it's just a voltage problem. A lot of USB adaptors have problems with the same thing.
Try testing your pad in a PlayStation (if you have access to one). If it works fine on there it's almost definitely a voltage problem. |

Yes.... the leds makes the problem....
We had the same problem, and we had to disconnect the leds.

Does anyone know where to get new drivers for a PS2-PC connector? mine works fine, but has issues with using the diagonals in solo mode... works fine with a PS2, but my drivers dont like reassigning the diagonal buttons...
