I sent a private message to some people running the official tournament but haven't gotten a reply back. I'm thankful that I was put back into the tournament but I didn't have a chance to react since I was put back in on Friday (one day before the round ended) and wasn't given a notification.. Still going to be following Division 3 and 4 though no matter what the outcome!

One of the higher ups please address this, it's pretty wrong what happened to this user.

The difficulty with this case is that putting soul back in could upset some of the current top 16 in D4, making it slightly tougher with 8/17 instead of 8/16 going through. If there is no major opposition from the other members of D4 I can put soulwar back in, but otherwise I am in a bit of a jam as to what I should do.

I'm 50/50 with it. She has an AAA already which means she auto-advances to the next round if placed back within D4.

At the same time though, she just got caught in the middle of something and thought she was taken out until just recently so she had no chance to advance to this round since she had no idea she was put back in.

Certainly a jam. Would just make the cutoff be a tiebreaker if placed back in if those people with 2 goods don't improve. I'm all in for more people I suppose. Just I don't know since it's the top 16, lol.

I am 100% put soulwar back in the tournament. Tournaments are meant to be exciting and to push your skills to the extreme, prove you are the best of your bunch. Soulwar deserves a fair chance.

soulwar is definitely not a random. 366 games played, but has a 71 AAAed. Not to mention, their VC scores has like 18g here or 20g there. Someone we know is playing on that account and it's pretty obvious.

And why hasn't anybody taken action on the lolsandbaggers in d1? Laziness perhaps?

This is the part of concern, when you had never even played an FMO before the toruny started, it's kinda hard to tell what skill they are, especially a SM player, because it takes a little time to get adjusted. The extremely low number of games played was a red flag, as well as the wide range of scores.

Now that this is round five, it makes for a very tough call, and I'm glad I don't have to make it. At least we are finally starting to see the actual level of skill.

The problem with an IP check is that it can be easily avoided with proxies, manually changing the ip, etc..

I really just don't buy this shit at all(talking about soulwar again). Ever since real prizes were introduced into this official tournament, the bs never ceases. Not to mention this official is 10x worse than any other official I've seen FFR have.

Hi there, I understand your sentiment very well but I feel this is the perfect time for me to say I'm not playing this tournament for prizes or anything I would be very happy if I ended up top 8 or top 3 even. I'm not very interested in cash or goodie bags, so they can hand over my share if I do win something to the next person in line. I would like access to the tokens because well, those things are something that I would actually enjoy over pokemon & pony figurines or gift cards.

.. Unless it's an Amazon gift card. Amazon is downright f.r.e.a.k.i.n.g awesome. Because you can save gift cards and give it to others for their birthdays and they will love you for it

For rounds 6-8, I'm actually planning on making a video of my journey through the tournament even if I don't get put back in. I feel like it will serve as a good time capsule sort of something that I can look back on and say.. "wow, I used to be way worse than I am now." Expect some videos

Then why don't you tell people who you really are instead of pretending to be something that you're not? Honestly, I'm not going to buy your innocent act bs. lol. Rhythym gamers are pretty common. Good ones are rare. A random does not come out of nowhere with 366 plays and AAA's a 71. Even if it's a SM player, you still have to get familiar with FFR's timing either way. So in conclusion, you are an experienced rhythym gamer that has been around FFR. So the question is, who are you?

I'm not obligated to tell everyone who I am, what I am, and what I do simply because people ask me, especially on the Internet. I will enjoy the game according to the rules and the website does not require people to divulge private information.

I hope the community can respect privacy - and I already explained what's going on to the people running the tournament. I know this sounds mean but I would appreciate it if you could stop harassing me (strong words, I know.) Also I've been on SMO a bit for the past few weeks and played with some people like valor (I forgot your name, sorry!). I used to be pretty darn bad at this game and the worse stats on my account are from me and my friend - we used to share this back in high school wayyy back when. He lives in Chicago now and I'm in Texas now. I used to be around the same skill level as my friend but I played stepmania a bit and can now AA things like Border of Maximum (awww yeah). In my opinion I'm not that good since I get beaten by people all the time in SMO.
