Release Source

My suggestion is that you guys release the source code behind some of the stuff on the site. In particular, I would like to read through your implementation of profile pets.

What do you think?

No offense, but don't you think if they did release the source code to various portions of the site, especially the Flash parts, that people would use it to try to find exploits and then exploit them?

As it is they already catch people cheating using exploit programs from time to time. Don't you think that would only increase if they released the source code?

I realize you were probably asking just out of curiosity and that you probably had only good intentions, but not everyone is like that. Then again I'm no authority on anything at this site, so if I'm wrong on this, I expect someone with more say to correct me.

Again, I realize you were probably wanting to use it for learning or personal purposes. I just don't think they have the resources to constantly spend on finding and fixing potential exploits all the time though, and with the source code leaked, others would find them and might use them instead of helping to fix them.

Just don't release the source code for FFR or anything that links to the highscores. Source codes for most of the applications, chats etc. should be fine.
