Tear, Chalice, or Catalyst for early manaregen on Syndra?
Hard to decide.

I feel like Tear builds the best because Seraph's Embrace is godlike, but it makes your early laning pretty bad. Chalice is weird, Athene's seems so weak on Syndra. And Catalyst builds into RoA but that sort of goes against your lvl 6 and midgame burst which is one of Syndra's strongest points.

Someone explain what to do pls, this champ is hella fun but idk what is the right answer to her mana problems.
(also the only other thing that annoys me about Syndra is that she grunts like a tennis player...)

I start boots + heath pots with Syndra then rush a Chalice. That fixes the mana problems. After that get a Tear of the Goddess and start stacking it up. Finish your Athenes because the cooldown is amazing. Get your tier 2 sorc shoes whenever you feel like and start building either a Deathfire Grasp, Zhonya's Hourglass, or Manamune. Zhonya's if you're getting destroyed by physical damage or getting caught because Syndra has no mobility and you can have your team back you up. Deathfire Grasp for more burst and cooldowns. Manamune when your tear is around 600-750 stacks. You should have no problems with mana at all, especially with blue. The reason you want to build a manamune instead of Archangels is because when it's upgraded and activated, it procs on each ball your ultimate smacks, adding a bonus 210-780 physical damage. Also adding a Rylai's Crystal Scepter for slows on all ablities + increased slow and health.

Ignore your mana problem. Manage your mana usage effectively until you can be given blue. It's not like she's one of those people that can't last hit under tower effectively.

You'll do more for your laning power if you can get an NLR quickly than if you were to rush a mana item. Normally I pick up Kage's to mitigate any creep loss that might be happening and make her a little stronger until i can get that NLR.

as stupid as this sounds some of you should try a 3-man premade and go on twisted treeline to race

you can't tell the enemy you're racing so they're obstacles to kill you. p much run from one side through the spider nest and through the jungle avoiding turrets whichever feels close to going all the way around the map and keep doing it until they destroy your base

So basically concede your lane because you run out of mana for no harass?
EVERY Syndra guide and pro player I've watched takes some form of mana regen, there's no reason not to.

I don't spam my skills to CS but you have to have mana to harass and win lane/get kills. You can't just "ignore" that her Q is one of the most mana intensive skills in the game and totally core to everything she does. You can quite easily go OOM even with blue buff just from poking with Q...

all I want to do is get to gold before the season ends (not sure when it ends... end of the year?) but it is just so annoying with so many bad players! I get silver 1 then a week or 2 after I almost get dumped into silver 3... still hanging on the edge of it. Even if I get fed I just cannot lead my team to victory... most of the time.

I know that feel bro. I went on something like a 16 game loosing streak a few months ago. Dropped to 700 elo. Now I'm back up to 1380.. Just gotta keep fighting.

If your team aren't trolls or ignorant, you can make some calls. Force objectives, call out plans, etc. There were many games in my past where my team was losing greatly but after they're told what to do we manage to pull stuff off and win games. Stuff like split push 1 wave meet top and group push, switch targets from dragon to xx if they come by. Ward these areas, avoid going to these spots.
