Re: Progress pics thread
this is after my cut ended and I just woke up feeling about as not sexy as a person can feel
had to apply a lot of instagram filters to compensate I'm currently two weeks into a 22-week bulk, so we'll see how this goes. |

Re: Progress pics thread
yeah the cut itself made me depressed. I lost something like 35lb, which is massive for a cut, but most of it was fat I shouldn't have gained in the first place. this wasn't simply due to overeating -- a lot of it is stuff I can't discuss on here. but regardless, that's 3-4 months of zero progress on my lifts.
anyway, I'm back to where I was strength wise before starting the cut, so now I feel a lot better now that I'm making progress on my lifts again. |

Re: Progress pics thread
here is the before photo, I think I was just shy of 200lb:
lowest I got was 166, so it's actually about 33lb, but whatever. |

Re: Progress pics thread
I have mixed opinions on it. my gf loves it, but on the other hand, I wouldn't fuck me, whereas previously if I had managed to clone me I would absolutely fuck me.

Re: Progress pics thread
oh yeah I completely forgot about that fucking injury I had which slowed down the speed I was able to cut. it took something like 1.5 months before I stopped noticing any pain in my shoulder.
could have made that progress in much faster time otherwise. moral of the story is don't get into awkward positions when you arm wrestle your friend at Oktoberfest. |

Re: Progress pics thread
you look fine, don't worry
your progress is extremely noticeable but oh man you have the former fat guy love handles PRO TIP FROM EXPERIENCE do not do what I did and cut forever to try to get rid of them. I wasted 6 months on that shit, 6 months I could have spent adding 6lb of muscle. you will not get rid of them. until you are deadlifting 405 for reps (which will make your obliques pop out), don't even think about getting rid of them for good. just settle on minimizing them to a decent level. work on your lats and shoulders and chest, in that order. seriously, get the launch codes, get the runway signal, spread your lats and fly away. trust me dude it's gonna be a rough ride but you'll make it. we're all gonna make it. |

Re: Progress pics thread
Nice progress!
Damn, huge difference. I'd drop a bit more and then start building some muscle.

Re: Progress pics thread
Very inspiring, glad this thread was bumped tonight. :)
I'm too shy and embarrassed but I've been dieting for the past couple of months and have made fairly decent progress (I promise I'm not a whale, I just was not happy with my body). Maybe when I reach my goal I'll talk more about it, haha. Good job to everyone in this thread. :)
