Played the game last night. I'm not used to the controls yet, but it's not bad to me. (I have zero experience in designing games so I know my opinion doesn't really mean much)

Not having experience in designing games doesnt mean you cant tell if a game is good or not. I enjoy any and all feedback, and if anyone spots a bug please let me know immediately.

how bad is it

by the by, when stock graphics jungle is finished, ill be giving free copies of the above game to time trial record holders. Basically anyone with a WR time trial score will get a free copy :3, but its gonna be a bit more complicated than that so stay tuned

28 I think is fastest for Moist Cracks. I keep getting 29s with mistakes. Could possibly push to 27, but that would be insane.

My shit doesn't record for Moist Cracks and my Jungle Janks time shows whatever my best time is on time trial, currently 29 on Moist Cracks. First thing I did was delete my game, so maybe it's in how you're storing our data? Or am I just fucked with using Mozilla for this game?



You're just going to have to trust that is me because I'm listening to my Andrew Fulkerson grooveshark playlist and the edit button is available for me on this post in this thread. Hopefully that's enough proof.

Ive been trying to figure out how to fix the bug, eventually im probably going to remove the level unlock system until the game is completed.

Save data is going to be lost next version sadly, although after that i think you should be able to use your own save without to many consequences.

Few random things that happen that I don't think are intended or are just observations:

1. I start a new game. 1-1 is yellow boxed and unlocked, 1-2, 1-3, and beta 1-4 are yellow boxed and locked. I finish 1-1 for the first time and it becomes a green box with a check mark in it. 1-2 unlocks as a green box with a check mark in it. Shouldn't 1-2 unlock as a yellow box? This also happens with 1-3 and beta 1-4.

2. State changes from being in the water to being on land play the breathing sound. So, if I am in the water in 1-2 and I press Q to take me back to Hub World, I hear the breathing sound. Is this the desired result?

[Optional] 3. My Moist Crack time shows for 1-3 when I unlock it. I understand you're working on it, but I was just testing to be sure. Along with this, my Moist Cracks time does not show under Moist Cracks. My 1-3 time trial shows nowhere.

4. There was consistently an event where I heard the cheer for finishing Beta 1-4 and I was not transported back to Hub World and I assume I lost control of my character since I hear no jumping sounds and I can't bring him back on the screen. Q became unresponsive as well, but hitting R worked.

5. The final tile before the end of Beta 1-4 you can see the cave background graphic through it.

Some of these are pretty minor, and may or may not be bugs at all, but this is what I've seen so far that draws my attention.
