Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
This was the first round I started using isolation files. I find that the only ones that I cannot AAA consistently are the first burst and first jumpglut.
For whatever reason I can consistently AAA the 2nd jump glut on the engine, but when it comes to the actual game I only nail it 50% of the time? lol Also Dossar thanks for finding that replay, didn't realise it saved even though I didn't save it. So I guess I must be splitting something -after- the jumps in the jump glut o_o

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I think I'm probably out this round. Iced Innocence is a great, fun file, but I'm mindblocked in 3+ places no matter what style arrows I use, if it's mirrored, if I put it in dizzy mode, dark mode, play with or without sound, play upside down or play wearing blue-tinted goggles with people yelling in my ears and throwing cheeze-its at me.
13-0-0-1 is the best I am likely to do. I'll keep trying and see if the isolations help but I am not confident anymore. Good luck to the rest of D3... |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
So Bluearrow AAA's through the jumpgluts in Sleepmix to find that he gets interrupted by a Skype call

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Amen to all of this^ I sure hope next round's file isn't this mindblockable. Although who knows, everyone could suddenly skillboost on Saturday night and post ~insane~ scores. Really hoping 4g is enough; I'm thinking it'll be somewhere in the range of 3-5g.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I'm probably out this round unless by a miracle I accomplish a score that keeps me safe.
Either way: This round was ****ing awful. I mean that very literally. I cannot think of a more shitty way to leave, than on a chart that isn't about testing a set of skills. (This chart is just jumps and hands there's nothing unique or special about it.) This chart tests how good you are at abusing the games frames to not split and keeping your nerves down. The more I played this chart, the more garbage I feel it became. Rip it out of the game when we're done. There's nothing honestly hard about this disgraceful of a chart. If I survive next round had better not ****ing suck as much nearly as much cock as this one did. And again, I'm not even joking. I cannot say anything nice about the chart. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Considering that the chart was really heavily layered, one can say that the chart tests your ability to consistently hit things in a cohesive manner. Every chart tests something, even if that something is -everything- (i.e. overall ability).
