So.... how do you think the war will go now that he is capturedd?

He was captured, but it will take a long time until becoming calm and safe in Iraq.

and this doesnt mean the war is over
there are still many saddam activists who are still very loyal, now that he is captured they will be even more angry and attack more. And if he is tryed in our courts, it will take a few years just to get a jury selected and such.

Iraq is also not safe because Bush, in a stroke of 'shoot first and ask questions later', didn't plan on how he was actually going to rebuild Iraq's government. Meanwhile the Iraqis hate us, we've definitely overstayed our welcome, Bush keeps borrowing more money (and insisting that his trickle-down theory will work psh), and we're losing more and more troops due to our own carelessness. I'd like to know what the HELL Bush is thinking?

Did anyone see how humain they are treating him, with the medical exams and such, the one thing i wanna know, is how long have we had him for, i would assume like 12 hrs at least, they wouldnt want to leak this to the media tooo soon.

After the fiasco with Osama, plus with Bush's public opinion dropping and the war in Iraq going nowhere, I'll bet they released it pretty damn soon after they caught and ID'd him. They'd want to show they caught someone, wouldn't they?

but what if they didnt have positive id, and they released it, sadams loyalists heard, and tryed to hide the real one, or rescue him
its all messed up, i am looking forward to newer details.

EDIT: george w bush just spoke, he knew yesterday that they had a guy that they thought was him
at 515 am eastern time, it was 100% confirmed.
Yesterday at 830 pm bagdad time, is when we got um "trapped like a rat"

the only way they can be sure is by a DNA test, which ake about 10 hours, so if they got him at 8, then yeah its him. and i just wanna say, he looks like an iraqi santa claus.
