I always like games like Plinko. Another one is where you have to guess the numbers and they beep the cars horn if you're right. Ouch, my right arm just got a weird pain going down it.

They had a "black jake" game? There's a game called black jake?!?!!?
My summer won't be complete without Bob Barker...Especially since I won't be able to watch him during my lunch break when going through Two-A-Days. |

ASIANS CAN'T PLAY FOOTBALL.
THEY MUST STUDY. Seriously, you remind me so much of one of my campers, who had a long conversation about how sad he was that he didn't fit in with the other Asians because he was athletic. |

Re: Bob Barker announces his retirement
The game is called "Card Game", and it's one of the hardest games to play to win a car, just behind the worst one, "THAT'S TOO MUCH!"
My favorite game is probably anything where time matters. Bonkers, Clock Game, and Race Game. Clock Game would be my favorite to play, and here's why. Quote:
Bonkers is fun. Basically, put the discs where probability says they're most likely to be, then try. If not, move the one with the lowest probability and try. If not, move that one back and move the one with the lowest probability and try. If not, move the one you moved the first time and try. You can do about 8 shifts, which is plenty to get a good shot at this. There are only 16 possibilities, and taking care of the 8 most probable ones first usually means you win. My least favorite games are: Lucky $even, Card Game, Punch-a-Bunch, Spelling Bee, That's Too Much!, Freeze Frame, Grocery Game, Money Game, and probably more that I can't think of right now. All of those games suck. If I had to play Spelling Bee, I'd probably cry. Odds of winning are so low. That's Too Much! is even worse. I've seen 20 people play it and so far, NOBODY has won yet. I don't know why they keep that game on. Maybe it's to make sure they don't have to give away a car. Last edited by Squeek; 11-1-2006 at 06:19 PM.. |

I was always waiting for some obese old lady to pass out when she won. Never got it...

I've seen That's Too Much! three times and twice the contestant won. Maybe your viewership is just bad luck.

Re: Bob Barker announces his retirement
What?
Why? Cars these days on the show are pretty random. I see 15k for one, then 24k for another. I always know that Cadillacs and Lincolns and Lexuses are going to be a lot more, of course, but it's hard to put the distinction in when it's just a compact. |

Re: Bob Barker announces his retirement
mountain climber yodelling game was pretty awesome as was the one where you had to keep walking down this path and get liek 7 things in a row correct... Bob was the best putter ever, which is why he should be best remembered for his tremendous cameo in Happy Gilmore

Look, guys. All things must come to an end, including awesome shows. But just because those shows are over, doesn't mean the actors are. Look at Patrick Stewart and William Shatner. They could have just lived the rest of their lives comfortably after their Star Trek shows were over, but they both love being actors and so that's what they continue doing. |

Seriously, Bob Barker is awesome because of that nudity quote. I thought he was cool-ish before, but now he's SUPER FRIGGIN AWESOME.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
