Something to help sleep
So I live at a boarding school, a tennis academy in Florida and I have to get up real early every day, like 5:15am. And it's hard to fall asleep at like 10 oclock so I am looking for something I can just buy at wal-mart that works kind of like sleeping pills. But it can't be over the counter, just something that I can buy on the shelves. Any ideas?

Over the counter is off the shelves.
Simply sleep by Tylenol.

Re: Something to help sleep
A bedtime tea mixture, or just chamomille, or just passion flower.
Chamomille calms, and passion flower is an effective sedative. Extremely bitter though. If you manage to find passion flower tea bags, you are going to need a bucket full of lemons. I usually add the juce of an entire lemon to each cup to cut the bitterness. Of course, then it tastes like hot lemonade, but that's fine. It still works well. If that sounds too hippie for you, gogo nyquil. If you are getting a bedtime tea mixture, it MUST not contain any real tea or this will wire you. It should contain chamomille and other herbals. It should be easy to find bags of chamomille or sleep time tea mixtures in grocery stores for not a whole lot of money. If it contains passion flower, you should be out like a light. WARNING: don't expect to feel groggy from these things. You won't feel like you NEED to sleep, but if you lay down and try to sleep, you should find sleep come to you EASIER. It's not like you're gonna be sitting playing video games and suddenly zonk out. You actually have to try to sleep too. You can't let the tea do it all for you. It's just an aid.

Still think you should go with FA's suggestion. It'll put you right to sleep.

Re: Something to help sleep
Despite the typos in simulater's [sic] post, he's right. But seeing as the OP is at a boarding school, I don't think masturbation is the most viable option. Especially for regular use.

Re: Something to help sleep
Actually he is correct. Studies have shown that it helps you relax by committing this act. I think.....

Benadryl + something to read = instant drowsiness.
(Well, 30-45 minutes, then you got your drowsiness).

Not over the counter, but smoke a bowl and you should be straight.
