Any skaters/surfers/snowboarders here?
I think this would appeal a little bit more to you guys as opposed to just normal people. Anyways, there's this thing I stumbled onto while on youtube. It's called longboarding. It's really interesting thing.

My friend owns one of those and got suspended from school for a week because he brought it to school.

I would rather just skateboard. In my opinion, unless you are pro; those longboards are only good for cruising really fast.

That's kind of the point of long boarding, to just cruise around really fast.

I hate those new one wheel boards where you have to go side to side.

No where in my post did I say it was new. I said I just stumbled upon it, idiot. Anyways, I personally think it looks really cool. I live in Indiana so it's not nice enough here to skate all year so that's probably why I've never heard of them before. It looks like something fun to ride, and if I had the money I'd probably buy one.

Yeah, hop off my dick about not going outside on a daily basis ***. I go outside every day, like I said, it's not nice enough here all year round for people to be riding skateboards so I wouldn't notice a board like this as easily as someone who lives in California or something. God damn, you really are dumb. EDIT:Why would I mention it here? Because maybe there are people on FFR who might like to see something like this and would check it out, maybe buy it. That's why I would mention it on FFR.

Re: Any skaters/surfers/snowboarders here?
i'm not surprised you've never heard of longboarding, because it's primarily a coastal thing. i've lived in cali pretty much all my life, so a longboard is nothing new to me.
it's definitely the surfer's skateboard if you know what i mean. |

Re: Any skaters/surfers/snowboarders here?
Just stop posting dan. If I didn't live in a skater town in Canada I would have never heard of it as it's mainly a regional thing. Even in my town which is FULL of skaters, I've only heard about them once and it was just somebody looking at buying one on the internet and "NOBODY ELSE HAS ONE". You're just being a ******.
If I were to ever hop on a skateboard again I would probably use one of these. I hate doing tricks on the regular ones. These are a lot more practical too, I can run faster than most people can skate and I'm not that fast at all. |
