Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
Not too long ago, I stared using two setups. Along with the one already listed, I now play Index-Ring Spread, too, especially on SM. It's easier to switch between Single and Solo that way. You can add this one, too, please, whenever you get to updating again.

Strange. I'm the only person on the site who uses E R U I as a hand setup. 2 Hand 4 Finger.

Re: FFR Player's Handstyles
I use The arrow keys and AIKL. Since my keyboard can't hit certain hand combines, I switch between the two.
Left/A = Left index and/or middle Right/l = Right ring finger Up/I = Right middle finger Down/K = Right index This is the way I've played ever since I started playing R2, then I moved to stepmania, and FFR. Now I play all three! R2 is the first simulation I've ever played, and I still play it to this day. In my opinion the simfiles are more fun. Even though they are limited. Don't see why you stopped R2. Have a song addition system like R1 then maybe it could be a success, and you'll have online DDR. Plus, it has holds. |

Arrow keys for life. Middle and ring fingers. Occasionally switch to just middle fingers on difficult one handed trills. |

The only position that is comfortable for my left hand is [n m num2 num6] with the left side of the keyboard slanted away from me. My hands are poorly constructed.
