Default Cytus

i don't know how long this game has been out. but if you have an Android or iOS device i really recommend this game. it is kind of like osu but for tablets. it has a lot of songs already and the more people that play the game, the more songs that get released.
i didn't make a video yet, because i have to play it on a phone, and it isn't really that handy on a phone, it's better on Tablets but still on yout phone it's still a pretty awesome game but it can get pretty hectic at harder levels.

score screen example:

I've tried this game before, though I haven't really gotten to like it back then. I might redownload it soon.

I found them... there are secret songs apparently. Wikipedia has a nice list of them (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytus#C...and_song_lists):

Ververg / Ani feat. b (Touch the torch on the girl's hand while dimmed to access Ververg Ver. B)
Precipitation / ICE (Select the song by sliding two fingers downwards to access Precipitation Ver. B)
Entrance / ICE (2 additional hidden songs can be played - drag the left wing to the center to access Precipitation at the Entrance Ver. A, drag the right wing to the center to access Precipitation at the Entrance Ver. B)
Saika / Rabpit (Tap both of the red cards then tap the screen to access Saika Ver. B)
L / Ice (2 additional version of the songs can be played : hold the "L" letter until it turns red to access L2 - Ascension : Act 1 ; continue holding the "L" letter until it turns blue to access L2 - Ascension : Act 2)

Entrance is very tough; L is absolutely impossible. The other three I haven't tried.

EDIT: When I mean tough, I mean above and beyond standard 9... Entrance is a 10, L is maybe a 12, if the same scale for difficulty is used...

It's not bad. I didn't like how easy the songs were. If they made songs that were really difficult, I'd play more.

I can see why the difficulty ceiling is lower than most rhythm games, since cytus is more like a gateway series to rhythm gaming. Those hidden stages are pretty rough though, so if you wanted a challenge you could always play those.

It's a nice game for tablets. It has some good songs in it. I don't really play it a lot anymore nowadays, but it's fun for a while.

revival because they got freedom dive! (skip to 1:30 to see the hard part)

(and the impossible freedom dive chart they showed in the preview video -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdq8AGiJRIU#t=107)
222 BPM is really fast -- i play thumbs; 7~8 hits per second on both thumbs is crazy

this game has some pretty tough charts in it now, freedom dive is for sure 12, codename zero in chapter 9 is straddling 10-11, and then there's chapter S... which is mostly borderline 10 from what i've heard

also the quality difference in beatmaps from chapter 1~3 to chapter 9 is staggering... there are some really great songs in the first few chapters, they should remake those someday to have better charts

It's fun but the charts feel off sync as crap to me. (If anyone knows how to fix this on a Samsung Note 3, do let me know.)

That said, I love how there is an option to turn off the tap sounds. That would have been a major game killer for me because they're fucking worthless.

There's an in game option for sync adjustments that helped me a shitload.
I don't remember exactly where it is at the moment, I think someone pointed it out in the cytus scores thread
