Wired vs Wireless keyboard
Is it really that significant? I dont have a wired keyboard to compare but I feel like I get goods in places Im spot on. And I can play on my crummy laptop from early 2000s and aside from it being choppy framerate, nail everything step for step.
Will any wired keyboard be a significant upgrade or do I have to spend the money and get something higher end? |

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
Personally, I doubt that there is a noticeable difference between Wired v Wireless; though I have always used Wired because I consider them more reliable and on another computer I have there is a wireless mouse and keyboard that runs out of battery life too quickly and it's rather annoying.

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
Wireless peripherals tend to have a little extra delay to them.

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
Any recommendations on a wired one? Or aside from any ghosting issues on a cheap keyboard is that the way to go? Id hate to have to remap my keys to deal with ghosting if it became an issue.

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
As far as keyboards go, it's more of a preference of what exact keyboard people like to use for Rhythm Gaming, but that aside any keyboard works for gaming in general.
I use an $8 ONN Wired Keyboard and I'm doing just fine except one key setup got smashed enough to where one of the keys occasionally drops a miss which is fine because I have a new setup anyways, and for other gaming it gets the job done (although with certain games it is more ideal to have a Mech KB). Wireless imo is just for convenience and I feel like being Wireless attributes to nothing relevant to the usage of the keyboard except for what has been stated thus far.

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
I only like to recommend mechanical keyboards nowadays, but they can get pretty expensive.

I switched from a wireless kb that came with my all-in-one desktop to a wired keyboard a few months ago because my setups started ghosting randomly after awhile, and it works great. it was only like $20 when i got it on newegg though v.v |

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
Wireless has definitely low reaction rate than wired. at least it was that I tried.

Re: Wired vs Wireless keyboard
I don't recommend using a wireless keyboard for anything ever... unless you want to google porn from bed.
