Re: Favorite IM service?
it upgraded to 6.0 now, but thats irrelevant... GAIM rocks!!! it integrates ICQ and AIM members together in 1 simple, easy to use buddy list, and for those who have multiple accounts, you can log as many as you want at the same time, much like aim account linking, but much better... and its so easy to use its not funny... i reccommend GAIM to everyone

Re: Favorite IM service?
AIM 6.0 is simple to use.
It doesn't suck as much as Triton does. |

Re: Favorite IM service?
To me AIM is more reliable and convenient opposed to YIM and MSN.
I really like MSN's interface and features. Pretty darn nice. I like how it shows what you're listening to, you can use huge images and still get a avatar, and it offers the sketch feature in the IMs. BUT... I had AIM for a while and I have too many friends on AIM to start getting into MSN. So I would say AIM is my favourite. |

Re: Favorite IM service?
This doesn't happen in AIM triton, it's all on one box, just like msn. My personal favorite is AIM but i have msn messanger too.

Re: Favorite IM service?
Myspace is not a Instant messager.
The myspace IM is the crappiest thing I've ever seen. AIM has its good features and bad features. Myspace is just a place to stick your picture and talk to random people across the country. |

Re: Favorite IM service?
I hatehatehate MSN, and I hate Trillian almost as much.
For talking to my American friends, AIM is easily the best. Only losers use MSN. Losers and failures. When I want to talk to my out-of-hemisphere friends, though, MSN is a better choice than AIM, but Skype's still better for that. It's also more useful for a lot of things. Skype is pretty cool, after all. Meebo's good for a browser-based client, since AIM Express supremely sucks. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Re: Favorite IM service?
Do you even know why AIM Express exists?
Did you miss the part where I mentioned it was browser-based? You know, so that you don't have to download anything to chat? AIM Express is used out of necessity only. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |
