Lonely
I don't talk here much, but I asked some friends if it would be best to ask about trying to find local people to hangout with here, but doubt there's many that are in Idaho because it's a lame state :c
I've been doing online school for almost a year now, and ever since I switched to it from public school,I've had very little interaction with people physically that I can call friends. I've been home most of the time now and because my friends still go to public school and most have jobs I don't really have anyone to hang with or help me with homework, so my stress and anxiety has increased drastically. Recently I've had more and more stress and worries about depression after what has been almost a year of not communicating with any of my friends in person, and living in a new county without knowing anyone there doesn't help with anything either. Basically I just want to find a friend or two, maybe more. I can't go around and read minds to know who likes what since I'm nearly 18 and it's awkward to go around and meet random people without any connections(Just one more day since this post), so I figure it's just best to ask a large community that's possibly nearby where I am. I'm in Idaho, mostly in Kuna, but sometimes I'm in Meridian because I go back and forth between mom's place and dad's place. If anyone would consider wanting to meet up with me, you can shoot me a message however you choose. Would wanna know someone more before considering meeting up with them. |

Re: Lonely
Try just rhythm games on meetup.com or anything else that interests you. It's a great site with a lot of members and a great place to meet people. I have a core group of friends that I met through there and still go to meet ups with those same friends.

Re: Lonely
I have also used meetup.com to successfully find some gaming meetups in my area. Regretfully I stopped going, but the potential is there.

Re: Lonely
Yeah looking through the profile search thingy you're gonna have a tough time finding other fiffer players in your state. I was the same way back when I lived in MN, haha. Looking for anyone who plays rhythm games as already said is a good start. Even DDR players will have quite a bit in common with you.
Do do you do anything else other than rhythm game? It might be easier to meet up over other interests. Also you're free to hmu while you're waiting to find people. We're pretty close in age and I don't bite. |

Re: Lonely
Welp, no meetup things in Idaho involving rhythm games, gaming as a general, or any other interests I have. I feel like a failure now :c

I guess another route you could take is to develop new hobbies and meet people through that. Or if you have family in either Meridian or Kuna that's your age, latch onto them and make them introduce you to new people. |

My family is the complete opposite of me as well and each one only shares one or two interests I do, so family introducing me to people doesn't work well. The only time I had someone in my family introduce me to others was when my mom was friends with people who had kids my age years ago. |

Re: Lonely
I have a permit, so technically yes and no because I need a parent to drive with me.

Re: Lonely
Well it's where I'm stuck for awhile, so yeah. I wanna convince my mom to let me go to California with my brother so I can go to Round 1 for the day before flying back home, but that is very unlikely.
